It has been universally predominant for the chinese resturant over the global perspective, which demonstrate heavily the popularity of the very food and extensibly, the food culture. Alongside the famous and decent Chinese Food Court or restaurant, a simple existence of the take away holds the unavoidable markets for a great amount of customers.

As being seen on many hollywood movies, the Chinese culture mainly rests on the food. For example in the recent release of the Departed, Oscar winner of the 2007, depicts some aspects of the phenomena explicitly. Comparing those extremely common in the US, the take away has possessed the world customers in a variety of kinds.

In the UK, the take away are not far from what we had seen in the US. Around the major cities, even the remote areas, as long as it is the resident region, the small piece of business are observed frequently. It is said that there are over thousands of Chinese Take Away within or nearby the Sheffield, the Fourth major city in the UK. The whites are getting used to the easy and simple way of dinner especially when people are too lazy to persuade themselves to move on after one day of hard work, or whatever.

The basic infrastructure and personnel inside the take away would be mainly involve one manager, two chefs and several part-time take away drivers. Simply as it is, few human resources are required to accomplish the daily task from around 5pm to 11pm. Manager is the guy who in charge of every aspects of the running of the business, including purchasing, managing and customer services. Two chefs, one first level chef, one second, are the essential guys and most hard work parts of the business. Usually, one driver is okay, while during the busiest time, i.e. on weekend nights, two drivers are necessary.

That's all, generally speaking, it is the small business which can be persistently profitable as the old Chinese saying describes, "People are living with eating".
